Message From Our Music Director Ruth White
There are numerous opportunities to participate in special music in
the life of Westminster.
We have a sanctuary choir that leads our congregational worship.
Under the direction of our music director, Ruth White, the sanctuary
choir meets weekly each Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m.
We also have a bell choir that occasionally plays in our services.
The bell choir practices each Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
Westminster also has a men’s chorus that sings monthly in our worship
services. Ruth White facilitates our men’s chorus. The practices
for the men’s chorus are on an occasional basis and are scheduled monthly.
We have occasional opportunities for children’s choirs. We have had
the children sing in special services, during Advent and during Easter.
The music of Westminster is the intentional blending of the traditional
music with contemporary music. We understand the music of the church
to be intended solely for the worship of God and is not intended as
performance for the congregation.
